District 2 is hosting its first ever ten week umpire academy which will be the pathway to District Certification. This is a new program that will emphasis proper mechanics and rule interpretation. 

The academy will meet two nights each week. One night will be classroom work, and the second night will be working games with instructors and mentors.

The academy will begin in Mid September, 2019
